MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The initial MetroNews boys basketball power index, sponsored by ‘Dominion Post Live’ features Class AAA Martinsburg leading the way. The Bulldogs carried an 8-0 record into this week. Hurricane (9-2), Hedgesville (9-2), Morgantown (7-2) and Cabell Midland (7-1) round out the top five.
Bluefield (7-0) is the top-rated team amongst Class AA schools. The Beavers check in at #6. Trinity (8-1) is the top-rated team amongst Class A schools. The Warriors are #27.
