Bridgeport suspect arrested after break-in results in $136,000 in stolen items

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — A Harrison County man is facing charges of burglary, conspiracy, and grand larceny following multiple incidents in Bridgeport.

Brandon Andrich, 27, is accused of breaking into a home in Bridgeport Dec. 12, 2018 with numerous accomplices. Police said they stole approximately $130,000 in property, including a World War I semiautomatic gun and other firearms.

Andrich apparently entered through a window. A safe was also stolen, rolled over a hill, and then returned later in the evening with additional help to retrieve the safe.

Police said Andrich returned to the home again that same evening and stole a 2019 Chevy Equinox valued at nearly $36,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
