Car crash claims life in Boone County

TWILIGHT, W.Va. — A person was killed in a one vehicle crash Friday morning in Boone County.

According to authorities, the driver of the car lost control while driving on Chap Road in the Twilight area at around 4:30 a.m. The car went off the road and slammed into a tree.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.
