Fayette County woman accused of sexually assaulting teen

OAK HILL, W.Va. —  A Fayette County woman is in jail after she allegedly had sexual contact with a teenager.

Summer Hopper

Summer K. Hopper, 37, of Minden was taken into custody Jan. 17th for an alleged incident at her home in June 2018.  According to court documents, the teen told investigators Hopper entered a bathroom where he was taking a shower, opened the shower curtain, and touched him inappropriately while recording the incident via a video chat with an adult male.

Hopper is charged with sexual abuse by parent, guardian or custodian, and incest.  She is being held at Southern Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Investigators said Hopper has denied the teen’s claims.
