Bodies found in Sissonville residence

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. — The bodies of two women were found at a Kanawha County residence Tuesday afternoon.

According to authorities, the women are Janice Harding, 76, and Belva Harding, who was in her 50s.

The deaths were reported along Boyz Lane. Authorities said the bodies had been in the home for an extended period of time.

Investigators said a welfare check to the residence was called after a financial institution noticed deposits were going into some accounts that had not been used for a while.

The cause of the women’s deaths is under investigation.
