Morgantown man arrested after biting off part of a man’s ear

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Morgantown man is facing a felony charge for biting part of another man’s ear off.

William Kingsley Clark, 31, is accused of biting off part of the ear of a man during a domestic battery incident.

Police said Clark is accused of hitting a woman in the face while intoxicated. Investigators said the father of the woman and Clark got into a physical altercation when Clark resorted to biting his ear.

According to a Morgantown Polic Department press release, a person in the home used a frying pan to “keep Clark at bay” while waiting for police to arrive.

Clark was reportedly intoxicated and belligerent at the time of his arrest.
