MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Two 20-year-old Detroit men were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver during a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Monongalia County.
Teron Montez Kelly and Tyvon Ra’Mone Dove were the occupants of a vehicle stopped by Monongalia County Sheriff’s Deputies Thursday.
During the course of the stop, deputies requested the assistance of a K9 officer.
A Morgantown Police K9 Officer was dispatched to the scene and an open-air search was conducted. The K9 made positive indication for narcotics.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and the following narcotics were discovered:
— 159 grams of heroin w/ a value of approximately $24,900
— 47 grams of cocaine w/ a value of approximately $4,700
— 28 grams of marijuana w/ a value of approximately $250
Also taken as evidence was $366 in currency.
Kelly and Dove were placed under arrest and were charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
Both suspects were arraigned before Magistrate James E. Nabors.
Their bonds were both set at $75,000 each. At the time of this release, neither has posted bond.
