Five arrested in Morgantown drug raid

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Five people were arrested after the Mon Metro Drug Task Force searched a home on Wabash Street on Friday.

Three Maryland men are each charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy. They are: Larry Dante McCollum, 37, of Baltimore, Dion Antonio Sanford, of Baltimore, and Jamal Odell Floyd, 30, of Servernapak.

A Morgantown man, Joseph Henry Szczyrbak, 34, was arrested and charged with conspiracy.

Rikki Stutler, a fugitive, was also arrested. Information about which state she is wanted in was not immediately available on Friday.

The MMDTF searched Szczyrbak’s home at 301 Wabash St. on Friday to find evidence he allowed Floyd and others to sell drugs from his house, according to a criminal complaint.

Floyd, McCollum and Sanford were found sleeping in the living room. Szczyrbak and Stutler were found in an upstairs bedroom, the complaint said. About two ounces of heroin, three ounces of cocaine base/crack and seven grams of cocaine were found in the living room, the complaint said.

There were 11 pre-packed doses of heroin in Szczyrbak’s bedroom, the complaint said.

A digital scale and other materials used to package drugs for sale were also found in the home, the complaint said.

Police also seized several thousand dollars.

Floyd, McCollum, Sanford and Szczyrbak were arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court on Friday by Magistrate Sandy Holepit.

Bond was set at $75,000 for Floyd, McCollum and Sanford. It was set at $25,000 for Szczyrbak. As of Friday afternoon, none had posted bail and they were not listed as prisoners on North Central Regional Jail’s website.
