Nine charged in Lewis County drug sweep

WESTON, W.Va. — During the morning hours of March 6, 2019, deputies commenced to serve numerous  drug associated warrants throughout Lewis County.

A total of nine individuals were identified as targets in this operation.

“Today’s arrests launches our renewed commitment of drug enforcement in Lewis County,” Lewis County Sheriff Adam Gissy said in a news release. “Operations like todays will be occurring at a greater frequency in an effort to weaken those individuals spreading the disease within our community.”

Any person who has information regarding the whereabouts of the individuals sought are encouraged to contact the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, (304) 269-8251.

An asterisk beside the defendants name denotes that the individual is in police custody, or accounted for.
