Snavely appointed to BOE

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Jim Justice announced Wednesday his appointment of Daniel Snavely to the state Board of Education.

Snavely serves as the medical director at St. Mary’s Regional Wound Center and as an interventional cardiologist at Huntington Internal Medicine Group.

Snavely, a Hurricane resident, replaces Joseph Wallace, who resigned from the board in February. He will complete Wallace’s term, which goes through November 2024.
