Cabell County man facing arson charges after incident at own house

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Cabell County man is facing charges after allegedly setting his own residence on fire.

The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office announced the arrest of Jeffrey Allen Bledsoe, 39, of Barboursville on Friday.

He is being charged with first-degree arson and obstructing in connection with a fire on March 21 at his home on Cyrus Creek in Barboursville, according to investigators.

Bledsoe is currently in the Western Regional Jail with a bail set at $65,000.
