Glenville State’s Pellett leaving this summer

GLENVILLE, W.Va. — Glenville State College’s president will be leaving his position later this year.

Tracy Pellett

Tracy Pellett declined an offer by the college’s Board of Governors of a renewed contract. The board voted last November to extend the contract for one year. He did not sign the agreement offer.

Pellett began serving as president in July 2017.

Faculty Senate members and retired faculty had express concerns with Pellett, with 59 percent of full-time faculty expressing no confidence with him.

Pellett’s contract expires on June 30.
