CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Bluefield man was injured in a Friday night shooting in Charleston, authorities said.

Kenoma Tabb, 45, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including wounds to his stomach and shoulder, in a shooting in the parking lot of the Capitol Hotel near Leon Sullivan Way.

According to Charleston police, the suspect, described as a young black man with a thin build wearing a blue hooded shirt and khaki pants, ran from the scene. Police said he’s unknown at this time.

Police did arrest another man identified as Charles Hayes, 35, of Charleston. It’s alleged Hayes was punching Tabb in the face after he had been shot. Hayes is charged with battery.
