One dead in Cabell crash

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A backseat passenger died Saturday evening following a head-on collision in Cabell County.

The car the victim was in had traveled across the centerline on 16th Street Road at about 6 p.m. and struck an oncoming truck, police said

Three other people in the car and three people in the truck were injured.

Charges are pending against the car’s driver who police believe was under the influence.
