U.S. Route 35 collision claims 2 lives

BUFFALO, W.Va. — Two adults were killed and two children injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 35 in Putnam County Saturday afternoon.

According to authorities, a tractor trailer and passenger vehicle collided near the Buffalo Bridge at around 1:30 p.m. It was raining at the time.

Deputies were on the scene investigating a possible cause. The names of those involved were not immediately released.

The tractor trailer driver was not injured.
