One dead in Marion County house fire

MARION COUNTY, W.Va. — One person is dead after a structure fire late Wednesday night in Marion County.

Crews from four area departments responded to a fire at a home on Lofty Lane in the Montana Mines area. The blaze began just before midnight.

There is no word on the cause of the fire. Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
