CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Three new faces will join Clarksburg City Council following Tuesday’s municipal election.

Lillie Scott-Junkins, Gary Keith, and James Marino won Tuesday’s election with 669, 506 and 736 votes respectively.

Scott-Junkins is a fifth grade teacher at Nutter Fort Elementary School and is president of the Harrison County Education Association Executive Committee. Keith is the broker/owner of List it 4 Less Realty, and Marino is the founder of Marino Brothers in North View.

Voter turnout was light. About 17 percent of the city’s 1,718 residents cast their ballot in the election.

— Will Hyman, 371 votes

— Mary Mayer, 151 votes

— Steve Haning, 96 votes

— Gary Groghan, 75 votes

— Denny Davis, 19 votes

These results are unofficial until canvassing is held Monday.
