Police search for 2 men in Charleston shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Police say they are familiar with the two men wanted for a Friday afternoon shooting on the Capital City’s West Side.

Sayles

Naquil Sayles, 22, and Jordan Kinney, 22, both of Charleston, have been in trouble before. Sayles was convicted for being the getaway driver in 2014 West Side murder.

Police have filed arrest warrants for both men on charges of being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Malicious Wounding and Wanton Endangerment.

Kinney

According to investigators, more than 20 shots from two guns were fired at about 2 p.m. Friday in the area of the Go Mart on West Washington Street. Markale Foster, 23, of Charleston, was hit in the leg by some of the gunfire. He wasn’t initially cooperating with police.

Sayles and Kinney should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
