SHADY SPRING, W.Va. — A Raleigh County man has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse by a parent for incidents that allegedly occurred over the course of several months
Wayne Ramsey, 35, of Shady Spring was taken into custody, following an investigation resulting from a complaint made by Shady Elementary School in April. According to court documents, a student told a school employee Ramsey had exposed himself and touched the child inappropriately, and stated his two siblings had been molested by Ramsey.
The other children later were interviewed, and reportedly described instances of sexual abuse occurring at the family home, when their mother was not present.
Ramsey is being held at Southern Regional Jail under a $500,000 bond.
