Human remains found in Mercer County identified

PRINCETON, W.Va. — A set of remains found in a remote part of Mercer County are now identified as a Princeton woman reported missing earlier this month.

The state Medical Examiner was able to determine the remains are those of Amanda Presutti, 34, of Princeton. She was reported missing June 9th. The identification was made using fingerprints and authorities suspect foul play.

The search for additional human remains continues across a wide area of southeastern Mercer County near the border with Summers County and Giles County, Virginia.

The first remains were found Thursday evening around 7 p.m.
