Body found in Kanawha River

CHARLESTON, W.Va. –Police said they suspect no foul play in connection with a man’s body found in the Kanawha River Friday evening.

The body was spotted by Charleston Police near north Charleston as they were taking a boat to be refueled.

Police said it appeared the man’s body had been in the water for less than a day.

The man’s name wasn’t immediately known.
