Worker’s name released in logging death

WEBSTER SPRINGS, W.Va. — Authorities in Webster County have released the name of the man killed earlier this week in a logging accident.

Dustin Eugene Waugh, 24, worked for Donald and Sons. which was working as a contractor for Weyerhaeuser. Waugh was killed Thursday while logging in the Jerryville area, authorities said.

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.

The body was sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.
