Greenbrier County woman injured in weekend accident dies from injuries

CALDWELL, W.Va. — A woman struck by a vehicle in Greenbrier County Saturday has died from her injuries.

According to West Virginia State Police, Debra Anders, 63, of Lewisburg was walking along U.S. 60 near Caldwell when the incident occurred. She initially was taken to a local hospital and later was transferred to a hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

No charges have been filed against the driver.

The incident remains under investigation.
