Huntington police looking for Detroit man wanted on drug charges

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Huntington police are looking for a man they consider armed and dangerous.

Rudolph Jackson, of Detroit, faces drug charges after officers found multiple drugs and related paraphernalia at a home in the 700 block of Washington Avenue on Thursday.

Detectives of the Huntington Police Department found 103 grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of a suspected mix of heroin and fentanyl, 14 dosage units of suboxone and marijuana. Police also said they found gun ammunition, a blender, a “cutting agent” and other drug distribution paraphernalia.

Martel Lee, 21, of Detroit, was arrested. He was charged with two counts of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver.

A SWAT team also searched a home on 22nd Street and 9th Avenue, finding marijuana and guns but not Jackson.

Authorities said Jackson has ties to Akron, Ohio, and maybe heading to the city. Officers found Jackson’s vehicle and believe he is still in Huntington.
