Body of Mercer County man recovered from Va. lake

PULASKI COUNTY, Va. — A Princeton, West Virginia man was the victim of an apparent drowning Friday at a campground in Virginia, according to local authorities.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said the body of 39-year-old Kevin Roy was recovered from Claytor Lake near Dublin, after a dive team began a search, following a report of Roy’s disappearance earlier in the day.

The body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Virginia for an autopsy.

The incident remains under investigation.
