HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — An elderly man is suffering from serious injuries after being hit by a car Friday morning in Cabell County.
Huntington Police said the man was getting into a car around 9 a.m. on 8th Avenue when he was hit.
A woman driving westbound on 8th Avenue caused the accident. Police said she veered off the road and hit two cars along with the man.
He was taken to a local hospital.
An investigation into the accident continues as authorities said the driver was not impaired.
