Big 12 announces kickoff time for West Virginia-Oklahoma game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia’s Oct. 19 game at Oklahoma will kick off at noon and be televised on FOX, the Big 12 conference offense announced Monday.

The No. 6 Sooners (5-0, 2-0) will be coming off of their annual Red River Rivalry game against Texas, while the Mountaineers head to Norman following this week’s 4 p.m. home game against Iowa State.

In a stat that no West Virginia fan needs to be reminded of, the Mountaineers are in search of their first win over Oklahoma since joining the Big 12 in 2012. The game will mark a homecoming of sorts for West Virginia quarterback Austin Kendall, who graduated from Oklahoma before transferring to WVU in January.
