WVU student remains in critical condition from accidental fall

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A West Virginia University student remains in critical condition from a fall at a fraternity house.

WVU officials said police responded to a call of a student falling two stories on Thursday at the Sigma Nu house. University officials have called it accidental and said there is no evidence at the time there was any fraternity event going on.

The student is being treated at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

WVU officials said the institution is providing support to the student’s family and fraternity members.
