Man killed in towing accident

BRANCHLAND, W.Va. — A man was killed in a towing accident Sunday evening in Lincoln County.

According to state police, Charles Pauley, 59, of Yawkey, was killed when a chain towing a vehicle broke and sent the vehicle over an embankment.

The accident occurred in the Branchland area.

Troopers are continuing their investigation.
