Man wanted in Preston County murder turns himself in

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A man charged in connection with a Sunday shooting death in Preston County turned himself in to authorities Monday afternoon.

Aaron Glenn Hoard, 33, of Morgantown, was taken into custody at the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department at about 1:45 p.m., Preston County Sheriff Daniel Loughrie told WAJR Radio News.

Hoard allegedly shot and killed Grant Felton, 33, of Terra Alta, at the Shorthorns Saloon in Terra Alta Sunday.

Hoard was expected to be arraigned on the charges later Monday.
