Preston murder case heading to grand jury

KINGWOOD, W.Va. — Murder charges against a Morgantown man will be considered by a future meeting of the Preston County grand jury.

After finding probable cause, Preston County magistrate this week forwarded the charges against Aaron Hoard.

Hoard, 33, allegedly shot and killed Grant Felton, 38, of Terra Alta, at the Shorthorns Saloon in Terra Alta on Nov. 3.

Hoard remains in jail without bail.
