Bunker Hill shooting under investigation, search for third suspect continues

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — Two men have been charged after a shooting at a nightclub in southern Berkeley County.

West Virginia State Police responded to a shots fired call at Elysium Gentlemen’s Club along Winchester Avenue Saturday morning at 12:33. On scene, troopers learned two men exchanged gunfire in the nightclub’s parking lot after an earlier argument between two females.

22 year old Kameron Hymes of Winchester, Virginia was taken to Berkeley Medical Center for a gunshot wound in his right arm. Hymes has been charged with wanton endangerment and prohibited person (in possession of a firearm).

27 year-old Kenyatta Weedon of Hagerstown, Maryland was also arrested on scene. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit malicious wounding and prohibited person (in possession of a firearm).

Troopers are still searching for a third suspect who allegedly shot Hymes. If you have information, call West Virginia State Police at 304-267-0001.
