Three Guys Before The Game – Nicholls Review (Episode 165)

Two dominating home victories have propelled the Mountaineer basketball team into the AP Top 25 for the first time this season.

West Virginia (9-1) is not only gaining respect from pollsters but also from the all-important NCAA NET rankings where they’re ranked 12th among 353 Division I schools. That metric will ultimately determine WVU’s postseason fate.

Brad Howe and Tony Caridi breakdown Saturday’s win over the feisty Colonels of Nicholls and take a very deep dive into the good and bad analytics through the first 10 games.

The “Guys” also answer listener questions and determine this is the greatest week of the year to take a vacation. Shoutout to Hoppy Kercheval.

They’ll be back later this week for a preview of Saturday’s game at Youngstown State.
