Murder investigations underway after Greenbrier County fire deaths

GREENBRIER COUNTY, W.Va. — The deaths of two people who were killed in a house fire in Greenbrier County were being investigated as homicides, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies identified the victims as Joseph Daniel Foster, 72, and his wife, Daisy Ethel Foster, 51.

Their bodies were found early Thursday after a fire was extinguished at a home near Ronceverte located on Fullen’s Cemetery Road.

Along with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, the Office of the West Virginia Fire Marshal and State Police were involved in the investigation.
