CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A significant jump in confirmed COVID-19 cases from Monday to Tuesday has resulted in more than 400 total cases in West Virginia.
The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) updated its numbers Tuesday morning with 67 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, making the total positive case count 412.
The DHHR also reported 12,059 residents have been tested for COVID-19, with 412 positive, 11,647 negative and four deaths, as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
