Mingo County gets first case of Covid 19

 

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Mingo County is now reporting its first case of the Covid 19 Novel Corona Virus.

Anthony Blankenship, Administrator of the Mingo County Health Department confirmed the positive test to the Mingo County Commission Saturday. The victim is an elderly male with a number of underlying health problems.

Blankenship said the man is now in isolation and the Health Department is working to notify all who have had contact with the man they too need to be isolated.
