DHHR: Fayette County next for free testing

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — There will be three consecutive days of free coronavirus testing next week in Fayette County.

The state announced Saturday evening the testing will begin next Tuesday.

Fayette County is one of 10 counties the state is targeting for additional testing opportunities for minorities and vulnerable populations.  The testing is open to everyone even if the person is showing no symptoms.

The state DHHR also said a second two-day round of testing will take place next Friday and Saturday in Kanawha, Berkeley and Jefferson counties. Testing will also be conducted on those days in Mineral County.  Locations will announced next week.

The Fayette County sites include:

12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on May 26, 2020

Mt. Hope Fire Department
