One dead in Morgantown crash

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A single vehicle crash killed one person in Morgantown Tuesday night.

Morgantown police said a car traveling southbound on Grafton Road, U.S. Route 119, at 9:40 p.m. failed to negotiate a curve near the Postal Plaza, crossed the northbound lane and went over an embankment.

The driver pronounced dead at the scene. A name has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
