Wood County wreck claims life

MINERAL WELLS, W.Va. — One person was killed and two others injured following a two-vehicle crash late Wednesday night in Wood County,

According to authorities, the collision occurred on Elizabeth Pike at around 10:30 p.m.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. Firefighters from Mineral Wells were on the scene.
