The first edition of the 2013 Warner Law Offices MetroNews Power Index has been released for boys’ high school basketball throughout the state. You can find the complete rankings here. The records are comprised from games completed through Jan. 8.

Martinsburg debuts as the overall top team, followed by No. 2 Hedgesville, No. 3 Greenbrier East, No. 4 Morgantown and No. 5 Musselman. The highest-ranked team out of Class AA is Poca at No. 11. The highest-ranked Class A team is Tucker County at No. 25.
