Three men are behind bars for running what Jackson County sheriff’s deputies are calling a large criminal drug enterprise.
A week long investigation led deputies to arrest Doyle Brown Jr., Jonathan Drennen and Hubert Messer Tuesday.
Deputies conducting a search of Messer’s Stone Lick home after acquiring a warrant and found more than $30,000 in cash, 44 guns, multiple vehicles and prescription pills.
Deputies believe all of the seized items were either stolen or purchased with drug money. They are calling Messer the ring leader of the operation.
All three men are charged with transferring and receiving stolen property.
