One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 in Berkeley County. The wreck occurred Tuesday afternoon at just before two o’clock in the southbound lanes near the Tabler Station Road exit.
State Troopers say a motorist heading north lost control of the vehicle, went through the median and truck a vehicle heading south on I-81. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.
The southbound lanes were closed for several minutes following the wreck.
