Greenbrier East (18-0) stayed as the top ranked team in the state in the third edition of the Warner Law Offices MetroNews Power Index for girls high school basketball. Spring Valley comes in at No. 2, followed by Morgantown at No. 3, Huntington No. 4 and Bridgeport No. 5.
The Indians are the highest Class AA team ranked, followed by Westside at No. 7. The highest Class A team ranked continues to be Wheeling Central, coming in at No. 21 overall. You can view the complete updated rankings here. All records are for games completed through Monday, February 11th.
