The inaugural Business Court Symposium is coming to Charleston this month.
The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday it’s plans to hold the symposium on January 22.
The event will highlight the benefits of the state’s new business court which has been created to streamline legal actions between business entities.
Special guests scheduled to attend include Business Court Judges Christopher Wilkes (Chief) and James H. Young Jr. to name a few.
Recently re-elected West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Robin Jean Davis will be the event’s keynote speaker.
The symposium will be hosted by Jackson Kelly PLLC and will be held at their Charleston offices, located at 500 Lee Street, Suite 1600.
The public is invited to attend the event at a cost of $30 per person.
The inaugural symposium will begin at 10 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude at 2 p.m.
