The West Virginia State Police are looking for a Detroit man in connection with the apparent overdose death of a young woman in a motel room on U.S. 60 in Cabell County.
West Virginia State Police say Megan Cregut Steele, who was in her 20s and from Huntington, was found unresponsive at the Days Inn in the 5100 block of U.S. 60 in the Barboursville area.
Police at this time believe Steele died from an apparent drug overdose sometime Wednesday morning.
Police say the man they are searching for goes by the name of “Jay.”
Anyone with information regarding the incident are asked to contact the West Virginia State Police.
The investigation is ongoing.

We need to put up a gate at the border that stops the drug dealers from Detroit from coming into WV. Too many times I have heard news stories about drug links to Detroit. Here in Morgantown, we get a lot of drugs from the Uniontown Pa area.
