A number of Berkeley County residents are scheduled to be featured on NBC’s Today Show on Monday morning.

They’re part of The WatchDOGS, standing for Dads of Great Students.

With the program, men who can serve as positive role models, whether they be dads, uncles, grandfathers or stepfathers, are invited to visit their child’s school and participate in a school day.

The WatchDOGS were first used at Berkeley Heights Elementary School seven years ago and are now in place in eight schools total.

Host Matt Lauer and a Today Show crew visited a number of schools in Berkeley County in early January.
