Spring Valley linebacker Elijah Wellman lands the 2012 Huff Award, being named the state’s top high school defensive player. Wellman tallied 124 tackles during his senior season as the Timberwolves finished the year with an 8-4 overall record.
He also rushed for over 1,600 yards and scored 18 touchdowns offensively. Wellman, of course, is committed to play football at WVU as more of a blocking back.
