UPDATE 4:45pm The state Division of Highways says it’s reopened one northbound lane near the accident scene close to the Goshen Road exit in Monongalia County. Traffic will still be backed up for a while.
Interstate 79 northbound near Morgantown is closed this afternoon following a wreck involving two tractor trailers.
The crash happened at around three o’clock near the Goshen Road exit.
One truck went off the interstate to the right and overturned. The driver was taken to the hospital. The second truck spun around in the median and was pointed south.
Traffic was also slowed going south in the area.
