H. S. Football Playoffs Round Two Set To Go

The high school football playoff field is now down to 24 teams as round number two is set to be played the weekend of November 19th and 20th.  The second round of games will be scheduled as follows:

CLASS AAA

     FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2010 – ALL GAMES KICK AT 7:30PM

#7 BRIDGEPORT (10-1) at #2 MARTINSBURG (11-0)

#6 CAPITAL (9-2) at #3 MORGANTOWN (10-1)

#5 HURRICANE (10-1) at #4 SOUTH CHARLESTON (10-1)

     SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2010 – KICKOFF AT 1:30PM

#8 BROOKE (9-2) at #1 GEORGE WASHINGTON (11-0)

     SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2010 – KICKOFF SET FOR 1:30PM

#7 MATEWAN (9-2) at #2 MEADOW BRIDGE (11-0) – KICKOFF SET FOR 7:30PM

Of the 12 games scheduled for round number two of the playoffs, eight will be played Friday night, November 19th at 7:30…….three games will be played Saturday, November 20th at 1:30…and, one game will be played Saturday, November 20th at 7:30pm.  Just remember to catch all the scores of the games played Friday night on WENDYS HIGH SCHOOL GAMENIGHT which can be heard across the state on 45 radio stations.  This week’s show will air from 9:30p-Midnight on Friday night, November 19th.
