On Sunday one of the top athletes in the state made his college decision. Poca High School standout athlete Jason Cuffee will play basketball at Wright State University. The guard becomes the fourth and final recruit in WSU’s recruiting class.
He joins Avon (Ind.) High School’s Kendall Griffin, Bedford (Ind.) High School’s Alex Pritchett and Brookwood (Ala.) High School’s Tavares Sledge in the 2011 recruiting class.
Cuffee averaged 23 points and nine rebounds per game for the Dots this past season and is in the discussion for the West Virginia State Player of the Year Award. The 6-foot-4 guard chose Wright State over the Columbia, Colgate, Tennessee-Martin and The Citadel.
